All repairs include an inspection of the head, bearing edge, rings, rope and shell for possible problem areas.
Each drum is unique and the prices quoted are for a typically created drum.
All quotes are subject to change upon inspection by our trained drum makers & designers and you will
ALWAYS be given the highest quality of workmanship within a very reasonable turn around time.

1.     Tuning: rope or tension rod tuning to the highest possible quality………………………………....$25.00

2.     Replace skin head: Includes skin removal & replacement, basic re-shaping of rings and edge, initial drum
tuning, bring back within the month for a second tuning free. Inspection of the head, bearing edge, rings, rope
and shell for possible problem areas……………………………………………………………………...

3.    Tension Rope Replacement: Replaced with only the highest quality rope with your choice of in stock
colors.  Rope varies in price by the foot depending on thickness and is added to the cost of the replacement.

4.     Rope on Rings Replacement:  Replaced with only the highest quality rope/fabric. Rope varies in price by
the foot depending on thickness and is added to the cost of the replacement.
1 ring: ($20)    2 rings: ($30)   with fabric replacement add ($8) each

5.     Tension & Ring Rope Replacement:  Replaced with only the highest quality rope/fabric. Rope varies in
price by the foot depending on thickness and is added to the cost of the replacement.
($50) Ring Rope     ($58) with ring fabric replacement

6.     Ring Replacement:  Custom fitted $20 per ring

7.     Even (plumb) Base:  Cutting the bottom of the base for drum to sit level (plumb)….....…………..$10.00

8.     Rubber or Cowhide Base Protection: …………….………......................….. Rubber: $45    Cowhide: $55
Protect the bottom of your djembe by adding a protective layer of rubber or cowhide.  Helps reduce fractures
in the shell and water damage from wet grass.

9.     Custom Handle: We will make a custom handle for your drum……...……………………...……..$15.00   
10.   Nylon Strap: Sturdy harness attached to your drum, your choice of in stock colors……………... $25.00

11.   Custom Carvings & Drum Jewelry:  A large choice of custom carvings made in the traditional method
with hand tools.  Add brass tacks or studs for that extra punch. Meet with our drum designer for a personal
design and price quote.

12.    Shell Conditioning:  Has your shell been treated to the summer sun, traveled in the back seat of your car,
has not been cleaned or conditioned since you have owned it?  Bring it in for a Shea Butter Spa Treatment.  
Your shell MUST be kept moist or the wood dries, cracks and eventually splits. …………..…………..$25.00

13.    Fixing Cracks:   Is it too late, your drum has cracked?  We can help, prices starting at $10. Each repair
will be assessed and a price quote given before work is done. We suggest adding the shell conditioning
treatment.

14.    Cymbal Polishing:  Bring back that brand new, shinny look to your cymbals, extra fee’s will be applied
for excessive dirt/tarnish cleaning. If increase is more than $10 you will be notified before work is done.

PAYMENT POLICY

Drum owners will be given a repair estimate.  If any work needs to be done over the cost of the initial
estimate the owner will be notified.

Payment of 1/2 of the estimated repair must be made before work can be started.  The balance must be paid
within two (2) weeks of the completed repair or the drum becomes property of Pulse Drumming.

Drum owners will be given a written  estimated time of completion.  They will be called and emailed as the
repair has been completed.  It is the drum owners responsibility to follow up with Pulse Drumming
to pick up their drum within two (2) weeks of completion.
